Details
Hon Tre Island is the largest island in Nha Trang Bay. It covers an area of over 32.50 km², located 5 km east of Nha Trang and 3.5 km from Cau Da Port. The residents are mainly tourists and fishermen. It is estimated that the permanent population on the island is about 1,500 people, concentrated in two main villages: Bich Dam and Vung Ngan. The island has small, pristine beaches and vegetation consisting of small forests.
The Hon Tre Island project is divided into two main areas: Vung Me - Bai Tru - Dam Gia - Bai Ran area and Dam Bay area. Vung Me area includes projects such as Con Se Tre Tourist Area, Vinpearl Resort & Spa, Vinpearl Eco-tourism and Water World, Vinpearl Cultural Park, Hon Tre Cultural Park, Bai Soi Eco-tourism Area, and Vinpearl Villas and Golf Course. Dam Bay area includes the World Ocean Tourist Area and Dam Bay Eco-tourism Village.
Currently, the island has the Vinpearl Land Hon Ngoc Viet and Con Se Tre tourist areas. Vinpearl is a large-scale project consisting of hotels, resorts, amusement parks, and shopping areas. The world's longest sea-crossing cable car was completed in 2007, connecting the Vinpearl resort area with Cau Da Port in Nha Trang.

How to get there
To reach Hon Tre Island, visitors can take a boat or speedboat from Cau Da Port (3.5 km from the island) or take the Vinpearl cable car from the mainland. Travel time is about 10-15 minutes by speedboat.
